UX/UI Design

"My ux/ui design experience has equiped me with a robust toolkit of skills and perspectives to create effective, learner-centered instructional materials."

Drawing from my teaching and industry experience in UX/UI design, I have cultivated a strong user-centered approach, ensuring that the learners' needs, experiences, and goals are always prioritized in instructional design.

UX design requires understanding and empathizing with users, which I translate into creating engaging and accessible learning materials and activities that resonate with a diversity of learners.

The problem-solving skills that I've developed through UX design enable me to identify and address challenges by creating effective instructional design solutions.

Below are ux/ui case studies of projects that I have managed spanning the past ten years.

Angioma To Cure Canada information architecture

Angioma To Cure

(Formerly, Angioma Alliance Canada)

I was tasked to design and develop the Angioma To Cure Canada website, which is an affiliate to it's American organization, angioma.org. User research was vital to ensuring a clear representation of the variety of user 's goals and motivations for visiting the website, as demonstrated in the personas.

The design of the required features and layout/structure were crucial in planning the information architecture to present the content in a comprehensive way.

Prayerhubs multiple devices

Prayerhubs

Prayerhubs is a platform for online spiritual support for the Christian community. Built on a completely custom framework, Prayerhubs incorporates geolocation to promote unity and a global connectedness within the online community.

As UX/UI Senior Designer, I conducted user research, user flows, wireframes, and prototyping. My focus was on user-experience and keeping the user interface clean, simple, comprehensive and consistent to maintain user engagement and retention.
